Dude, Thank you so much. I returned my first mpk, ordered a new one bc the pitch dives didn't work. Then borrowed my neigbor's, I was going crazy and just "settled" for using the keys and pads until I saw this. There is also another group of options pertaining to the arpeggiator that I stumbled across, hold it down for 3 seconds and the 1/4, 1/8, up, down, etc(right above your physical keys) start working. Thanks again, I love seeing Reason users helping others, I am new to reason (started on 9.5) and so much to learn!

Eyy this was a lifesaver for me. Back in the day I had the original akai mpk mini, then it broke. I'm big into analog gear but just recently saw the light and delved back into the plug in/vst world. My friend lent me his mini mkII last week and I was so disappointed when the knobs didn't work, because that meant I couldn't do filter sweeps-which basically defeats the purpose of switching to plug ins. This vid helped a lot. Thanks man.

This worked for me with the newer MPC+ as well; I had trouble with the knobs minmaxing until I updated the firmware, then it was pure sexy control. I think this might work for the M-Audio Mini Pro as well--same company owns them..I sent one of those back because I couldn't get the controls to work. Thank you for this great instruction!

I appreciate you! Like you said, the knobs are a make or break thing for me too, I can NOT function without them. Akai can go to hell with all the loops they added to get this working like back in the days. It was never this troublesome. Thank you.

Is the same process used for multiple instruments in the rack? Or can the same knobs be mapped to multiple devices? Cause depending on how much control you need that would be REALLY REALLY helpful. If you override the knobs you'll eventually run out...know what I mean? I have the akai mpk249 and that would be a life saver

HI. I had an M-Audio Axiom mini32 (I still have it) I took this akai MPKmini thinking of solving the M-Audio problem and instead I have the same problem. The joistik works, but the knobs don't work (At least on Reason) Useful for driving everything from the Mini keyboard. Your tutorial was very helpful, but there's a problem... When you exit the Reason program and come back in again, everything is reset, and you have to redo the whole operation. This leads to a waste of time and also a great annoyance. Is this problem solvable? If it's not, I just spent some useless money on a thing I already had and could do with the other Mini keyboard. Thank you.

this is cool and all... but I've done this.... I can't get my Kong to play more then the first 4 pads...then It skips the next 4... and if u switch it to the next group it does the same... the first 4 on each bank plays... but the pads don't respond to the next 4....I hear u have to adjust the editor not certain how all that works. any Advice?
