So a Community server scenario with 40 people that play at random times. Obviously it would be set to 16 players, can you confirm that the “16” refers to actively connected players, or is that the maximum names that can register on the server (the first 16 of 40) with the 17th person unable to join that community server, even if there are only 5 active players in it. Next question; The server admin is required to set up the name of every farm ?!? If true, people would not be able to play on the server until the admin logs in and creates the farm for the people wanting to play If the server admin; is not a player, and is just a facilitator for the game, how can the players make their own farm name, and control who else can join it?

Hi there, yes you are correct, you can have as many people have access to your server as you want, with 16 active players being the maximum players on the server at any one time. so in essence a first come first served basis. The server admin is the only one to have power to setup new farms, and can also allocate roles (Farm Manager/Farm worker etc) so an admin would need to be online to setup a farm, and give it a name. You can only have a maximum of 8 farms on a server too. How we work it in my community is we have a number of active players who are admins too, and have the password, usually in different time zones to cover as many player requests as possible.

No you can change to a dedicated one, just zip up your save game and upload it to the server and it’ll be at the same spot your were at before

Try creating a new password and saving it again, I had the same issue the other day but a new pwrd fixed it

Can you turn a game you have already started into a sever?

You can, get the save game from the documents > my games > farmingsimulator25 folder select the game save folder open it up and zip what’s inside and upload that zip file to your server and it will become a multiplayer game

Yes I think you can have up to 8 or 12 (I don't remember off the top of my head) but of course not everyone would be able to play at once.

After today's patch, my server does not pop up. I'm assuming it is because of the version differences (1.2.1.0 vs 1.3.0.0) how do I get my server on version 1.3.0.0 I'm using Game Servers for South African server location.

Yes that's probably correct, they'll need to update the servers to the new game version, they should do it automaticallyt over the next few hours.

Too many bugs to make this game worth playing yet. Nevermind lack of must have mods...I'm getting a headache from the flashing texture bug...tried every possible fix I could find. Can't layout my fencing the way I want on cuistom animal pins...I can place what ever I want in the area...but off limits every time I try to layout the fence the way I want. Stuff getting stuck under the map...etc...etc...etc...
