You made me want a moog...Their filters are soooo buttery and smooth.... I used to have the same thing happen as you on the pads from the mpc. Now I have a Digitone with scale locking and once again, I get way different things than using my keyboard. And I have a very good keybed that I would not trade for certain other elements that may require that kind of feel... I just get different relationships that I may not even think of on a regular keyboard because I'm locked in "my usual" way of looking at the notes. Studio players play synths, and live players play crowds. That was a very cool video and you have very well-developed sound design skills. That Moog too....... The final result would have me dancing away on a dance floor. Thank you, I enjoyed this.

Great Video! I do not want to disrespect, but I do think turning the high line into a park is a great idea. If you want to make public transit better in NY, turn the D Line into a loop back down to Brooklyn. And expand. No more bottleneck in Manhattan. Loop the whole MTA.

Do you have a video somewhere that talks about how you've set up the MPC so that it records and plays midi to different devices in your live setup? Maybe its a super basic question but I've never used one before. I've got a handful of synths and I've mainly been using a keystep pro to program longer tracks, but its not really a performance device to me. I'm considering getting an MPC but its not clear to me how easy it is to get it to record midi sequences and automatically repeat them, mute them, switch and back forth between different sequences, etc. I guess this is really a question about your basic MPC workflow for a live performance.

I don't really use the mpc that way. Best is to copy the sequences over and delete the notes. On those 'blank' sequences, the right preset settings will still be active so you should be able to set yourself up and play
