How to Setup and Use Alexa

like the features, setup was difficult for some of my devices (August Door lock, kzbin.infoUgkxhB5YOMNj04GuoAosExygP4cH-dKeb4aB Bose speaker)... but all switches and outlets (5), thermostat, tankless water heater. Unfortunately all I can do is turn on/off Bose. It doesn't support volume or changing channels, but I believe that is due to the particular speaker I have.... Worth getting if you already have other devices to use it with... I don't sit around and ask Alexa questions much so that doesn't really matter to me....

We've had Alexa in our house for about a month now and I have to say it is surprisingly good. I was a bit skeptical to start with but the more you use it the better it becomes. Highly recommended

What kind of plug is it? What echo device do you have? Do you have a hub to communicate between your plug and echo? If you have the dot you will need a smarthub because the dot can't communicate with smart devices directly

I have so many Alexa devices I can't count them all. I just got a microwave with built in Alexa yesterday and I haven't used it yet. At least it came with a complete user's manual and I won't have to go online to figure out how to use it, but it will require some deep reading.

I'm not sure what you mean by it's own wifi. It connects to your wireless router just like any other device. As far as connect to your tv it all depends on your setup. I have a Samsung smart TV and with my Samsung smartthings hub I can control my tv through my echo device. You would have to have a smart TV that's compatible, smart hub (smartthings) and an echo device for this to work.
