You did a great job on this video, extremely easy to understand and follow. I have a problem with the fit. It keeps telling me that I can’t continue with the hearing test. I’ve tried every one of the different tips with no luck . Any suggestions?

I had the same problem. I did the test with one in the App Store and imported that into my iPad and that worked. A work around but it worked.

The sale price of $179 is now back up to $199 at our local Costco. Still a pretty good deal over the Apple retail price of $249. And a plus is at Costco they include 2 years of Apple care at no cost.

My wife got the Air Pods 2 to augment the runtime of her Philips aids. The Air Pods don't even come close to approximating the volume level of the Phili[ps. The audiograph comes out close to the Costco graph the hearing assistance is not much help due to low volume. Music and streaming volume are very good but not the aid function.

The new update in which the AirPods Pro 2 became officially an OTC hearing aid, DELETED my audiogram and now it never accepts my values since I am moderate to severe on the left, and severe on the right ear. They were great before, and now the volume is much lower for me :-(

They’re pretty much the ks10’s all over again with a different charger. I still need to research them but I can’t make any videos about them anyway until they come out per costco

Ya I’ve heard that from a few folks now. Hearing aids are not available over the counter in Canada. This is probably why. I guess you need to take a trip to the states!

Battery life is the major drawback. 12-15 hours would be ideal. 1-2 hours each way for commute and 8-9 hours for the work day. So 2 sets, one on charge and one in use. From Costco $189 per set and includes 2 years of Apple care. Still much less expensive than other options.

Of course it’s a drawback. This is not a hearing aid. But when/if they do create a dedicated hearing aid, I think it will be amazing.

Just be aware if you live in Australia you cannot do this! I bought my airpod pro 2’s to use as hearing aids only to discover you cannot use them in Australia in this way. The software doesn’t support this function in Australia☹️

Apple AirPods cannot be made into hearing aids. They have some features of hearing aids, but that does not give them the utility and convenience of my Rexton M-Core aids.

Tried the program on my airpods, the delay/latency in sound was TERRIBLE. Could not get them off fast enough. Canceled the 7 day free trial to get my $99 pending charge removed
