Please please fix ur video, 1st it goes in the op in not out. That's why so many people have had the A50s cut off mid party or gaming, u need to plug it into the in not the out. Like this to push to top Side note don't turn off the 1st setting in audio cause ur tv will not have audio

+Casey Wright I got the baby blue and black ones and I also bought the Xbox one line green and white, they are both the same only the white ones come with adapter for headset, which honestly sucks cause I hate having to move the mic up to mute vs just pressing mute on regular Xbox one controller adapter. Just preference. Also I have had the A40s and I loved then too. 40s were just to cord heavy and always seemed to get in the way and with the wireless ones it more comfy but I get annoyed when I get the low battery beeping and I have to plug in. But def love the 50s just cause it easier to handle

Perfect, thank you. In preview program myself so unsure if its this new dashboard or not but in the video they used the stereo adapter. I have wireless Elite controller and with this combo I was getting audio from the controller + headset, there was like an echo. Disconnected the stereo adapter and just plugged the jack directly into the controllers 3.5mm jack. Then went into guide and turned headset volume all the way down. Now there isn't an echo. I also changed chat audio to speakers so I can still hear people and works great :)

I have the ps4 edition ones and all i did was plug my txd into the xbox one and all you need is the adapter for your controller and that controller cable and i can hear game and chat volume perfectly i didnt even need the optical cable..

pretty much if you were to like the ps4 colors better but have an xb1 it should work. always best to double check with the manufacturer though! the only thing is if you have the ps4 version you will need to buy an adapter and a cable i believe. but no matter what headset the chat on ps4 is wireless so they are 100% wireless

You also have to connect the a50 transmitter with the actual headset by simply holding the power button on both at the same time until they connect

No, you only need that if you are going to use the mic for chat on the Xbox One, if you don't want to do that you can just use the headset for audio and rely on the Kinect mic for your voice chat.

Hey all, have a troubleshooting question. Have the A50's that are made for Xbox One, so I don't need to use the XBone chat adapter, but I'm having issues with popping noises that wind up leading to disconnects of my Xbox One controller. Is there a way to stop this from happening? I've moved the MixAmp to various locations to try and stop any interference, but that hasn't helped. It's not constant, but happens every few hours of playtime.

Gen 1 Astro for Xbox one, here’s what I did to fix my mic issue -my controller already has the 3.5 jack on it Bought these from amazon: -2.5mm female to 3.5mm male -Audio and microphone Y splitter Updated the TXD to the newest version. I DOWNGRADED the headset to the 3302 firmware. The firmware made it so your mic is more sensitive. Plug the chat cable into your headset. The other end of the 2.5mm plugs into the 3.5mm adapter. The 3.5mm adapter plugs into the microphone input for the Audio and microphone splitter. The splitter plugs into your controller. After that follow the instructions for the audio settings on this video. Also make sure you change your chat settings to play through both speaker and headset so you can here your friends talking to you.

When u finally set it all up hard reset ur xbox one. Usually holding 6 seconds on the Xbox power button helps hard reset but u can unplug it to. Like a computer with new hardware u need to reboot to let it know it has a new piece

If u buy any a50s or 40s u will not need anything besides the Xbox controller adapter which runs about 30 dollars. Get warranty on it for 8 dollars at bestbuy cause sometimes they defect early.

The new Astro A50s (Green for xb1 and Blue for PS4) require no cable for chat. They came out 1.5 months ago. You dont need an adapter, you don't need to use the 3.5mm jack on your xb1 controller. They are amazing and completely wireless.

No you get game audio wirelessly if your not using your mic, but if you do want to use your mic you'll have to buy the chat adapter and have a wire from your controller to your mic.

I bought this headset for my pc years back, and figured I could use them with my Xbox one. But having to buy the headphone adaptor, plus the cable, and update everything. Seems like too many loops to go through to still not be able to use my headset as wireless.. It is a great video, and gives me hope that I can still use my expensive headset. But dang, I would just save money buying a cheaper headset for the Xbox, sadly.. Hey though, they still work for the PlayStation 4, and pc wirelessly. So not a total loss in use for these headphones. :)
