In this video I am setting up my breeding cage, I have enough space that means more budgies! The cage size for breeding Budgies must be big enough for successful breeding, and there is enough food and water for healthy pair.

@@tanishqkapse4878 - Well, placing 3-4 natural wooden perches, cuttlefish bone, water bottle, feeder, swing, ladder and some toys, you can make them from wood or cardboard (if the bird eats it remove it) and that would actually be a good budgie cage set up | (• ◡•)|

Eeeee! So excited 😆😆😆❤️ I just put the nest box inside the cage on the bottom she immediately started exploring the nest after just 2 minutes because she already had an egg in her..I think she was planning to lay the egg on the food bowl cuz she was removing all the seeds from it and was trying to sit on it..1 day after we put the nest she laid an egg 🥚 also I didn't have any bedding because it was all last minute and I didn't have anything to put inside..but after the chicks hatched 🐣 I put paper inside to avoid splayed legs..now the babies are 30 days old and they started perching and the older one started flying too.. they're so cute🥺💞

That cage is soo wonderful for budgies good job alen! Your a very caring person! Also guess what: I GOT A NEW BUDGIE!!!🤗😀 WOO HOO! He is green and yellow and he's super cute! Now I have 2. But they've been in the same cage for a while and they still haven't started the mating process. that cage is terrible for them,its way too small and doesnt have proper equipment,and please do not breed your budgies if youre not a professional,youre risking the chicks dying and egg binding,this guy knows nothing or refuses to care for his birds properly,a proper setup would be no mirrors,natural perches and toys and flight cages birds are extremely expensive and hard to care for,it is not nearly as easy as this guy makes it seem,it only looks easy cause hes not doing it right

I have a Mama Budgie with at least 7 young all doing fine in a nesting box. The oldest is 2 weeks old, with eyes open. My Concern, I hung their nesting box at top of flight cage. Should I relocate it to bottom of cage? Will this disturb the mama budgie or her babies????? Thank you for any help!!

My Recessive Pied Sprite just laid a whopping 11 eggs. Two were tossed out and two never hatched, but she has 7 babies, I am helping with hand feeding the older ones over 2 weeks old, she has an Albino, a Lutino, and I’m pretty sure a Spangle in the mix. He’s yellow with deep purple colored eyes, not red like the Lutino and the Albinos eyes, His tail is white, his cheek marks are white and his wings are white underneath. I am almost positive he’s a Spangle. Her mate is blue. We do have a blue one and a yellow pied like her and a green one. Their names are in order of birth MERLIN, RHIANNON, ARCHIMEDES, MORGANA, NIMUE, PERCIVAL AND GWENIVERE. All healthy and beautiful. My girl Pepsi laid five eggs soon after Sprite’s started hatching, the first born died, 😢😢 she has three babies and one egg. They don’t have feathers as of yet. The father to hers is blue also, she is green. 😎😍😍 I love them. ThanK you for you videos, I have learned how to raise and keep them healthy from you. Keep up the good work. ❤️😍😍 Have you ever had a bird lay 11 eggs? I’m making sure she has plenty of calcium, minerals, egg food and greens.

Hey Alex. My Budgie Pair just laid eggs about 2 weeks ago and so far three hatched and maybe the fourth one is going to hatch tomorrow. My question is when is it safe to touch my baby parakeets? I've heard around 6 weeks. so far my Budgies are still wild they will only come to my hand when i have millets it's so fascinating seeing that you're able to Tame yours relatively easily and My budgies won't really eat anything else besides seeds and Cilintro's which worries me because i want them to eat lots of other things so they can live longer. I'm still completely new to this Parakeet stuff but it would be nice to get your input on what i should and should not do as a first Timer on breeding parakeets.

@@alenaxp yes we have a shop bought nesting box the problem is that the One who is laying the eggs (Gemini) brother (Chandler) Chandler keeps taking the eggs out and cracking them open, idk why but he’s done it to the last 5 eggs (Gemini just layer another egg whilst I’m writing this!)
