Hi justin sabnt, this is to receive digital signal. Digital signal quality improve a lot if compare to conventional analogue signal (Currently you mentioned it : normal antenna). But this DVB also need connect to antenna in order to receive the digital signal.

Malaysia soon gonna shutdown the analogue signal. If without this decoder once the analogue signal shutdown you cannot get any channel. But latest tv all equipped with dttv technology which allow you to receive digital signal directly and you can ignore this decoder. This decoder for older TV. older TV unable receive digital signal

@@roselinaena78 Tak payah kod. semua dah autoscan. Jika tak dapat kebanyakkan masalah signal. Beli di lazada pastikan ada sirim ataupun sticker MCMC. Sebab tanpa label tersebut boleh dikenakan penalty sebanyak Rm100,000 (Jika spot check tertangkap). ada terbaca news tentang mytv decoder

order je kat lazada... xperlu mytv dekoder. yg penting boleh terima siaran mytv. jgn lupa kene ada attena(biasa pun xpe) dan battery AAA utk remote. nak lagi cantik pakai HDMI cable.

Yup kena beli decoder. Tapi ada sesetengah TV Baru sudah boleh terus support tak payah decoder.

make sure you're using UHF antenna

PVR? you meant Personal video recorder? sorry i don't get your mean. This device just plug & play directly to your TV.

Sorry that I didn't have enough clarity. PVR means Perosnal Video recorder, It has two options. You can set just the time or link to timing for a program where there is Electronic Program Guide. Have you tried it and is it reliable? I ask for I am considering to buy it and that feature is useful to me.

Sorry i never try it. i bought it just to receive the clear digital signal and watch it and i not so sure got this feature. For just a receiver to receive Malaysia digital TV signal.

Video cable ada connect TV tak? Atau Guna HDMI Cable. Guna Mytv dari Malaysia atau beli dari china lazada? Sebab jika beli dari lazada china kadang kala video port ada sikit longgar. Unplu dan plu semula untuk try. Dalam video i ada tunjuk masalah tersebut
