if i am making any changes in html file then it is not showing in github dekstop... only when new file is added it is showing changes

I think developers use both Windows, Mac, and also Ubuntu/Linux. It's a matter of choice. In general Macbook is super fast, hence people prefer it for personal usage and Dev work.
