I was following your video on flashing the Jumper T20 and got to the part where you plug it into the computer and choose serial port from the 3 options onnthe screen of the radio. When I do this I only get the option of comm4 on the computer. I went and downloaded the cp210x drivers...after downloading them I still only get the comm4 option...what am I doing wrong. Thanks in advance and love your channel!

had the same issue, no matter how many times i downloaded it wouldn't change of com4 even tho i could use the controller for flight sim, however i just followed his way for Wifi and that worked :)

@@WestpalmFreerunner I have a 2019 MacBook Pro so I have to use a usb adapter. I’ve tried several simulators and they can’t detect the controller. I should’ve bought the tx16s.

What is trainer mode? Do you need to turn that on for for simulators?

Trainer mode allows you to connect two Radios together when learning to fly. It allows the “Master” radio to take over the controls of the aircraft when the “slave” or student radios screws up. Like a dual steering wheel for learning to drive. For the sim, create a new model with Internal RF and External RF set to off, then connect via USB

No matter what I do I cannot get the ELRS script to load. It was working at one point. Changing firmwares, baudrates and things, no luck.

Thanks to this video I am up in the air having a blast!!! Definitely a transition from the pocket. I like both. This one feels and looks more serious, appropriate for a gig or AMA field. Whereas, pocket removable sticks are SO NICE, fits in your pocket, and is ready to bind to the Hummingbird V3... once you choose a packet rate or some frequency thing, you're all set up ready to go. I flashed via WiFi. Took a few attempts... they say you're crazy if you keep trying the same thing expecting a different result, but in this case it takes some of that

Any ExpressLRS receiver.. if you buy the ExpressLRS 2.4 version, just get any ExpressLRS 2.4 receiver

Just purchased one and it on the way. I’m new to open TX and ELRS radios. I always buy drones with DJI PNP version. Do I have to setup my radio (per your KZbin video) before I can use and bind it to the receiver. Or the radio comes preprogrammed. Just order drone with ELRS receiver pre install.

hello darren. in my internal rf i only get 500hz and i cant change it....but if i change the reciver option to "1" (or another number) it changes for 250hz...what means that reaciver option (2.14 on the video) thanks!

The frequency number refers to the packet rate. If u want to change the output power, hold down the menu button and go into the LUA script

It will work with crossfire if you get a crossfire module to plug in the back in the external module bay

One question u plugged the drone telemetry recoverd but how mine rx blinks twice after a while green light flashes than its solid grenn but nothing happens in betaflight

Assuming you have ELRS; Have you bound or flashed your receiver?

You rock brother. Thanks as I just ordered mine as my openTX TX16s max just wigged out on me with my external elrs module. I have the T lite v2 w/ edgeTX but love the feel of the full size. Seems just as simple as setting up my T lite for my racing whoops with spi rx's. EdgeTX is the way to go!!!! Love the content!!!!

My T20 Pro has got AION T- PRO v 2.5.1 from the factory.Can only update to 2.5.2 under "Jumper" & "T-Pro" Tried doing your method with the target " Jumper 2.4Ghz &....T20"...3.3.0 .but configurator 1.6.0 will NOT Build it under "Wifi" method to my p.c.🤔 Tried EdgeTX Passthrough method as you did,but the blue updating bar jams,after pressing "build"......so fails. Seems I,m stuck as a T-Pro on 2.5.2🤗🤣... even tho I copied your video precisely,...not sure now how to update to correct target and 3.3.0

You need to download the latest configurator. Sounds like you are running an old version

Thanks for this guide. I'm running windows 11 and updated the the CP210x Windows drivers from the Silicon Labs in BetaFlight, then re-booted for good measure. The manual serial device selection in ExpressLRS Configurator only show COM3 Microsoft and there is an orange triangle on Jumper T20 and USB Serial Device (COM3) in Windows Device Manager. Does anyone have a fix for this?

You have to right click and manually select the CP210x driver for the Jumper T20 in Device manager

Would you happen to know the link where I can download that driver? I've downloaded and extracted both the CP210x_Universal_Windows_Driver and the CP210x_Windows_Drivers, and run the CP210xVCPInstaller_x64.exe program, but device manager still says Windows was "unable to install your Jumper T20 Serial Port" when I try to update the driver. Any advice is appreciated. @@DarrenAllatt

I am stuck. you say go get cp210x thats all. I followed The silicon labs page but I am a total beginner. Could you please explai. How to get the cp210and the how to get the edge TX in that box on the config instead of just Com ports. I cannot figure it out thank you sosososos much!!!

Hello iam having a problem . I have a brand new Jumper t20s and a foxeer 2.4ghz lna reciever. I have follow the expresslrs guise for setting everething up. But at the bench test 25mw at 1 meter i get -100db on rssi1 TX. And i also get a critical alerta of low rx signal. If i move the radio like 0.5meters away it Will failsafe...any nidea about this?

Thank you for your quick getting started guide! Some remarks: 0:18 : it says "processor" on the screen - that is completely wrong, it refers to the RF frequency, not the processor speed. 2:10 : The baudrate for CRSF is still at 400k, for reduced latency 1.87M works just fine and has no stability issues.

People can’t actually tell the difference between the baud rates so for latency so it’s not worth changing.
