If you were to remove the microphone clip, could a Blue Yeti be put on the stand? Also, what brand and model is the stand that you have?
@AVMEVideos8 жыл бұрын
+TIGTV Productions , Yes you can put Blue Yeti mic in these stands. My stand was just a standard branded by local UK company. If you are about to purchase a stand for professional use then i would recommend to go for K&M microphone stands.

so the microphone... can you just plug it into a normal speaker that with a mic input, like, one where you normally just plug you phone in? I have the Shure SV100 and I get barely any sound on it, even on the highest volume.I'm thoroughly confused
@AVMEVideos6 жыл бұрын
if it's mic input then yes , if it's line level input then no.
@RATANKUMARRateria6 жыл бұрын
Please note that Dhire 100 is a Dynamic Mic and it needs some line voltage ti operate. Aux in ports won't produce any sound. There must be a Mic input in your unit to give Amplified Sound otherwise, it won't work...
@andywray21706 жыл бұрын
did you ever figure this out?
@adamosarczuk72155 жыл бұрын
You probably need an audio interface like a Focus Rite by Scarlet. Plug in your mic with XLR cables into the audio interface and turn on the 48v button on the interface
@edelahaye11 ай бұрын
@@RATANKUMARRateria Dynamic microphones dont need extra voltage. Only static microphones do. SV100 is a dynamic mike by Shure.

I'm struggling to get my microphone to work, it's brand new however my amp isn't even though my new guitar works perfectly on the amp, I don't think the mic is stuffed because I can tap the cords and it will make noises as well as quiet feed back I have no idea what's going on someone help?
@AVMEVideos8 жыл бұрын
+Tahlia mae , If your guitar amp has a Mic input then connect your microphone to that input . If you have a condenser microphone you need to provide phantom power to it either via DI box or if your amp guitar amp support phantom power for mic input. Send me the model number of mic , amp etc.
@hussainsumra56076 жыл бұрын
Just buy those gear4music amplifier thingies for pa mics and keep that amp that works with you for your guitar and with the new amp, put your mic in and then plug the new amp in, turn it on and it works

I got same stand as you but I’m applying a studio condenser with pop stand, it’s not very stable
@AVMEVideos3 жыл бұрын
If you’re not gonna move the mic stand during live or recording sessions then put some weights at the base of stand to stabilise it. Thanks for watching.

apply some WD-40 , gently use a wrench or pliers to turn it , making sure you don't put too much pressure

Price of what ? The mike stand ? Go Thomann ... RTX is the best deal.
LOL.. "Time is money"... yeah, this is why we don't really need a video that lasts 7 minutes to simply show how to set up a mic stand. For crying out loud, do people actually need to watch a video to set up a simple stand?
