HOW TO: Setup OzTrail Fast Frame Ensuite Single Shower Bathroom Tent

Hi again Rob! I bought the Oztrail Fast Frame shower tent, totally based on your detailed demonstration. Thank you! It is on my balcony at this moment and glad to see everything you mentioned in the clip works as described, including where to put the towel and clothes. Now I have had a trial run, I know I can easily erect this when out camping. When we are allowed in NSW, of course! I highly recommended it to all the girls out there. You can do it if I can at 72! No real strength required I found. At 5.6kg, I can manage hauling this around and use this for my personal weight limit. For example, I dismissed a fire pit which weighed 15Kg! Nah! I don't need to work that hard. Thank you Rod! I had looked into so many shower tents and I'm practically an expert now! Haha!

Nice to see the girls' comments, Rob. Same observation as Teena - putting the cover on first is a must for women doing it alone. I'm 72 and that stopped me in my tracks. Quickly saw the workaround. The weight is still a question mark for me. Best i have seen so far, though.

G'day mate! Thanks for the question! I personally use a Sea To Summit Dry Bag.Can get them in all different Litre sizes... they work a treat! Super light too... Anaconda, Snowies, Tentworld etc all sell them... not too expensive either which is nice!

Howdy folks! It most certainly does! Probably one of the easiest things I pack up in my camping kit! 😂Super quick drying too, so if you have a shower just before you leave camp, it will dry within 15 minutes in the sun... so I tend to pack up camp, then have a quick shower and then pack up the shower tent before leaving so I hit the road feeling fresh again :) I still have and use this actual shower tent event after 3 years since filming this clip - I still highly recommend this shower tent! Rob, I have just watched your video on your Aqua Cube portable shower. I am avoiding anything that requires batteries, even gas if at all possible. Solar or stay dirty!! Haha! My question is, will the hook and frame at the top of the tent be strong enough to hang a bag of solar warmed water? I know they are very heavy. I might have to put the tent under a tree with a sturdy branch to hang the bag and feed the shower head into the unzipped window. Working on ideas. Any suggestions? Have you done a video on solar charging a mobile? So many choices out there and I haven't been mad keen on any of them yet. That difficult balance between cost and usefulness!

When I first started camping years ago, I, like you, didn't want batteries or gas at camping. Once you go in either of those directions... You start bringing even more things that you don't really need... Just because you can 🤣 The hook at the top on the inside could hold a small shower bag, but I certainly wouldn't be hanging a large shower bag off it. Over time, I think that little hook would break. You could get yourself a little USB chargable shower head pump that has a shower head hose and use a bucket of water on the ground and have that pump up to the top of the shower 👍
