Bro please explain step by step how you connect flysky controler with your laptop??
@AKElectroDIY11 ай бұрын
I just used the ps2 to usb cable to connect the flysky controller to my laptop. The windows automatically recognized it and installed the drivers for it.

Hello. Please help me. In the FS-i6X model, USB signals are already output to the connector, not UART. This means that a UART converter is not needed and you can connect directly to USB. I understand that you can update the firmware via USB. But I need to know how to link 2 remotes to train a student and how to connect it to a computer for the trainer. Questions: 1.Can I use the USB connection for simulator training? 2. Will it be possible to connect a computer directly to the PPM output of the Tranier connector through the sound input of the card? So how do they do it in the FS-i6? 3.How to connect the remote control to another remote control. Should I connect the pin bus to USB or take the PPM In and PPM Out pins?

1. Yes you can use USB cable 2. I have not used the FSi6 so I don't have any experience regarding that. You may see other videos on youtube for guidance. 3. I haven't done this but will try. Will make a tutorial video on this topic soon.

@@AKElectroDIY Thanks for the answer. 2. I beg you, when you shoot a video, try to feed the signal from the PPM trainer to the linear input of the microphone. Also make a video about connecting two remote controls as a trainer for students. I also ask you to draw connection diagrams on the video. I think everyone will be grateful to you. Thank you

Ok will do it in an upcoming video

For the ppm setup, watch this video. Hope it helps kzbin.info/www/bejne/epmak3-Qo6qWoNUsi=V4mP4DGWMRPTOrHU And for dual transmitter setup: My friend has the same transmitter. I will manage to get it and connect them to be used as a trainer

@@AKElectroDIY OK, thank you. I'll wait for the video. However, I think the USB pins in the Trainer are only for connecting to a PC. I believe that they are not suitable for connecting a remote control. And I wouldn't risk connecting them. I think that the connection with the remote control should be through the contacts near the Trainer connector key. Where is PPM at the input and PPM at the output. When you turn it on again, of course.

Followed your video and the computer/PicaSim is not seeing the Flysky FS-iAX. AM I missing something? Do I need to install a driver?
@AKElectroDIY Жыл бұрын
Its quite simple. I you are on Windows 10 then it should automatically install the driver. To check if the driver is installed or not, go to control panel -> Devices and printers, and see if the FS-i6X is showing there or not. It should show as a joystick controller. If its not showing, then there should be an unknown device that is may be the fs-i6x. You have to install the driver of that device. Hope it works. If not, tell me then I will make a video on that.

@@AKElectroDIY I am not seeing FS-i6X in System Settings Devices and Printers nor under USB in my Windows 10 desktop PC. I also repeat this with a Windows 11 laptop, same result. FS-i6X is not showing up anywhere. I am thinking if the PS2 port in the FS-i6X might be at fault, but I don't know how to verify it.
@AKElectroDIY Жыл бұрын
@@abghere Then it might be the fault of usb to ps2 data cable. You should buy a new cable and try it. Hope that it will solve your problem. But if it still not works, then you can also get the ps2 port from the market and change it. You can change it yourself if you have good soldering skills. Open the transmitter, remove the old port and solder the new port.

@@abghere First you should change the usb to ps2 data cable and hopefully it will work

@@AKElectroDIY Got it figured out. The F/W on the FS-i6X is too old at 01-Jul-2016. Updated the F/W the latest version , now Windows recognized it. But it didn't show up in the Controller section under PicaSim. Instead it show up in Joystick. Not really sure why the difference between our setups.
