The worst thing is that the mark ii does have a touch screen, but you can only use it to set focus in live view or in the quick settings(I believe). No menu, no replay, nothing.

Can you tell me how to use the canon wft e8a for canon 1dxii to iPhone and or MacBook?? thx ! It’s gotta be similar to your 1dxiii no?

can you do Transfer to set if doing do utility to pc ? looking to do lock to send. and maybe send to phone locked if possible too

can you save it but on wifi can you change i.e new wifi on it or cable in but not need to set up everything else up again ?

Yes, with the presets you can easily switch between wired and wireless/ different networks.

Does this still work with video? I only see photos in the Fileflow app/ website, no video is displayed after I have sent it by FTP. Have Photoshelter no longer support for video-files?

I'm able to see video files in Fileflow, but I can't play them in the app. I'm am able to download the video file through the app.

Thanks very much for this info! Have you found the battery drain on the iPhone to be a problem when using it as the hotspot for an entire football game? Do you disconnect/re-connect at halftime, etc?

When you use the iPhone as a hotspot it will drain the battery fairly quickly, I actually use an Anker battery pack during the game and keep the hotspot on the whole time: us.anker.com/products/a1619

Too bad you didn't show how to connect to an ftps server with a certificate. My ftps server works with everything except the 1DX Mark III. It simply refuses to log in.

I'd love that video, too. I have never been able to get my camera even to load the certificate. If you've been successful there, I would love to read how!

@@AlexGac I haven't got it to work with ftps but I've found it's not a big security problem since the range is only about six feet.

What’s the best wireless for a canon 1dxii ? I need to only to be able to send photos from back of camera to,phone or laptop wirelessly ....?help ? I do think want to buy the still $699 wtf ea8 or whatever

How can you mark images to be uploaded once you have a wired connection? In other words, Shoot and mark images as you go then walk over to a ethernet wire and plug in and "let it eat".

Thank you for the great work. I just want to mention that wifi transfer is useless when there is live TV going on , so sad this won't work for me. Maybe the best way is wire transfer!

We've been able to use wifi transfer during every sporting event with live tv, try it out.
