Double click on the browser source you added, enable control/custom audio or whatever it's called, go to advanced audio mixer and turn that browser source audio to output and monitor :)

I’m curious about trying to get this set up and have one question. I’ve followed multiple of your videos on getting everything set up, which are absolutely awesome and a huge help, so thank you for these tutorials so much! My question though, I’ve set up alerts through Owned Pro, and copied them to OBS. I have linked my Owned Pro and Twitch accounts together. Do I need to go through and upload the alert URL from Owned Pro into the Twitch alerts tab in my creator dashboard, or since Owned Pro and Twitch are linked, with the Alerts settings in my Owned Pro added to my overlay, will they still show up? I’m getting test alerts through Owned Pro into OBS, and my most recent follower banner is showing up correctly, so I’m thinking that I’m just overthinking it, but wanted to make sure before I find out the hard way if possible. Lol.

I am making custom Twitch overlays and I was watching your channel to figure out setting them up and testing them out. One thing I am having trouble with is having the alerts for different things show up in different locations of the main display. For instance I want the new followers to show up in a separate Alert box bottom right. Then I want the Alert for new subscriber to pop up bottom center. Yet all the things I have tried result in the alert boxes populating with the same info in all locations. So when there is a new follower it pops up in all the separate Alert boxes and not the box I wanted designated for such info. I have tried to copy paste the URL but it doesn't seem to change and or give me separate info. I will follow up on your twitch stream tomorrow.

For doing that, you might need to make completely separate alert boxes which is kind of a pain in the butt

I notice you are into horror and one of my first overlay packages is an 8 Bit swamp horror theme. Hey Cpaws im having a problem where my image or text isn't popping up for when i send the test alert. The sound that I have on plays when I click it but nothing else shows up in the alert box, when I preview the alert on twitch everything is there but the rest isn't transitioning to obs properly. Thanks, I set my followers alert pop up Then, i did the sub alert But when i press send test Its duplicate the sub one for the follow one. It just remove the follow img and song and replace it with sub img and song. Position and size remain as what i setup for each one.

Ok so i am completely new to the entire stream game. And twitch. Well, mostly twitch lol. So new in fact, that tho i stream, i dnt even have a camera yet, though i do plan to get one. Yup! You'll just create an Alert Box through StreamElements website and just have the Donation option enabled. Or alternatively you could just use the StreamElements alerts instead of Twitch's (which I just released a video on literally 5 minutes ago so perfect timing haha)

so i made a follows alert and a goal alert but when i copied the url over to obs its the same url for both and now the same follows alert shows up twice and vice versa

Am I missing something? I have all these settings but nothing actually shows up on my stream. I stream from my xbox and am logged on Twitch there as well. I'm new to this and is seems mad complicated even after watching tutorials.

This only works if you're streaming from your computer - if you want to stream your xbox like this, you'll either need a capture card ( kzbin.infoVkGemdDpcWo?feature=share ) or you can use this method ( kzbin.info/www/bejne/gGKbp4t6pNCniMk ) hope this helps! :)

I made a follower alert the other day. The image worked but the sound only worked in preview but was the stock sound when did send test on obs. I saved it and I added it as a source above everything else but when I was streaming and got a follower nothing at all happened. Also the "latest follower" box in the own3d template didn't show near my last followers name.

Try re-doing your alerts with the steps in this video and see if it fixes it :)

I would try deleting the alert box and creating a new one to see if that fixes it, also doubling clicking on the browser source in obs studio and clicking refresh cache

I'd try re-copying that browser source url and re-paste it into obs studio and see if that helps - also double click that browser source in obs and refresh the cache of the current page :D

You can double click the browser source and enable custom audio and then go to that audio mixer setting and enable monitor and output
