For what it's worth, you have the tutorial pacing and clear talk down well. Great job!

This is awesome.... you keep it simple, explain everything that you are doing (why you are doing it), of course you need to know a bunch of things to really understand everything (keypairs, domains...), but man, Really glad I found this video

I can't connect to internet explorer on this private server. It says "Internet explorer can not be opened using the built-in administrator account". What do I do next?

Great tutorial Brett! I actually found a way to hard upload the .pem Key-name-pair file to the instance account which generated a password which I now use to access the instance from a Remote Desktop Client.

If you don't mind me asking what type of instance would you recommend for a small client running Quickbooks and needing to have it accessed remotely by 5 RDP users? Thank you for any feedback you can offer.

Hey David, I'd think a T2 Small or a T2 Medium would probably do the trick. Check the cost calculator and see what makes the most sense financially: calculator.s3.amazonaws.com/index.html Keep in mind, you can always shutdown your instance, and change to a different instance type. So, if you are starting to see it slow down a lot, just shutdown instance, then change to a instance type with more processor cores/more memory. Sometimes when I know we are going to have a lot going on a server, I turn it up just for that day, then turn it back down after. Scalability at it's finest! :)

thank you this is something I have been researching very heavy and it was great to find your video, this will be a great help. this will make it great to scale up if they add more users.

Hello Great Video. I have a auto instance start and stop module in place. Currently after every start of instance I am required to login into the server from Remote Desktop and then Windows launches on EC2. I wish to auto launch Windows Server after start of the instance so that it keeps running without me required to remotely login in. Can you help in the steps to achieve this?
