Ok, After 10 days waiting for advanced support from CyberGhost to solve my problem with PS4 DNS. I canceled the service today. After accusing my ISP of closing Port 53 (and the door was always open), and after 4 attempts to support live, without any resolution, I chose to cancel. I read that if you have turned off auto-renew, you are not entitled to a refund. At least CyberGhost refunded my money to me. I doens't recommend the service, 'cause doesn't WORKS.

Hi, Ghostie! There are some differences between VPNs are Smart DNS services. The main one being that Smart DNS does not provide any data encryption. So it's not the best choice for security. However, it's a faster alternative to unblocking geo-restricted services, since it's making your IP address look different to the services you might want to unblock or to stream. It's a great alternative for devices that don't natively support VPN apps and easier than manually configuring a VPN on your router. In the event of a DDoS attack, it helps protect your real connection. Your real IP will not be targeted. It will instead be our systems. Since we do have anti-DDoS protection systems in place on our servers, this will most likely trigger a connection loss to our servers, but your own network won't be affected. You can manually reconnect to our servers at any time. Due to the nature of DDoS attacks, being booted off is expected, but keep in mind that your own connection will be protected by our server.

DNS VPN funktioniert bei mir nicht. Es hat schon 10 Tage gedauert bis ich VPN in meinen DD WRT Router zu laufen gebracht habe. Der Support ist wirklich nicht der beste. Die Schritt für Schritt Anleitungen auf ihren Seiten sind nicht mehr Aktuelle und Fehlerhaft. Deswegen ging mein VPN auch nicht. Nun zur PS4, sobald ich bei DNS die IP Adresse eingebe für mein Land, wie auf der Homepage geschrieben steht, dann bekomme ich beim Internet Test bei der PS4 immer immer einen NAT Fehler angezeigt. Er zeigt mir zwar danach immer noch die Download und Upload Geschwindigkeit an, aber der NAT Fehler geht nicht weg. Finde da keine Lösung
