Dana, so wonderful to see you again. I popped over to your website to check out what’s been going on…and happily discovered that you’ve been a middle school substitute teacher. I also sub at our middle school and yes, you are a brave one! It’s so rewarding though. Never underestimate your influence on these kiddos. I also sub at our high school and those silly middle schoolers do mature and are always happy to see me when I’m there. “Remember me??!” They say, full of excitement. My daily goal is to have at least one important and positive interaction with a student, and keep a smile at the ready. I am always amazed at how much I’m blessed by doing what I do. And there’s no way your daughter is a high schooler! 😂

Oh my goodness I'm so happy to hear that Denise! Thank you for all you're doing in your schools and for the stories! I know what you mean...I ran into some of my 8th graders from last year at the high school and they had a huge smile "Mrs. Willard!".....it totally made my day :) I'm so happy you find joy in all of that too. And yes, my oldest is a Junior. Ahhhh. Make time stop please! haha. Thanks for the sweet comment Denise and keep going with the great influence you are to those around you! Love it :) - Dana

When sewing bias binding, I use a zig zag, or even better the mending stitch, which goes back and forth over the edge. I use those stitches for bibs, place mats, pot holders, and quilt bindings, too.

Greetings from France 🥰 My 4 year 70 kilo water rescue Newfoundland WISH YOU AND YOUR LOVELY FAMILY A HAPPY NEW YEAR 2023. Are you bringing us GOOD NEWS of a NEW ARRIVAL?🤱👼? CONGRATULATIONS if so. I have been following you for many years on KZbin. I have one UNIQUE son and a UNIQUE grandson of 10 years, the bibs are not for them😄. This video is a dream come TRUE. I wanted to make an XXL size bib for my drooling Newfoundland but was lazy to search for a pattern. I can begin to make many for my Dame with her name on it. Thanks for making my DREAMS COME TRUE. A big hug from both of us. 🥰😘💝🌹💐
