Yours is STILL my favorite! I have made so many and am making more! I use a fat quarter and just one drawstring! Started off as a shoe travel bag, now I use for everything especially my crochet projects! Thank you SO much Dana!

If the bits come off the material I would be frightened they get in baby's mouth. Think I would prefer towelling material.

Hi Dana - I love your shorts with a Flat Front. Just wondering if you have a pattern for adult women? I'm a beginner sewer - so not sure how to make pattern bigger. Appreciate your help. Have a great day.

For adults could you show another one with a zip back so we can do side pockets that are attached to the waistband so the weight is even distributed?

Idk why on Earth they don't teach this skill in schools. In Home Economics. They should start when kids, especially girls, are around 8 or 9 (as it does require some patience)and continue to advance up until graduation. Like make a tank top, a T-shirt, long sleeve shirt, a simple skirt, a simple dress, scarves, pant, etc. In this country there are so many women who don't know how to sew and it's so rewarding once someone gets proficient and fast. And once we are grown up, it's much harder due to having to work and raise kids especially for single moms who have to work and it's so sad. I have always wanted to sew. Thank you for sharing this beginning How-To. So helpful 😊

This skirt will be a great 1st project for my daughter. She has not seen yet but wants to. Finding time (and space) is the issue. She is good at art (much better than me, I’m a multi-crafter). She is working while in college. She got her AAS in veterinary nursing to pay for the rest of her schooling. This is her last semester!! She will have a BS in biology, minors in chem and premed. She’s got straight As so far. She’s headed to vet school next September. She loves animals and funky clothes so she will be making some wild skirts. (I saw some cool fabric on clearance that was blue and green tie dye with white outlined dinosaurs stamped on (kinda like if you bleached the dinosaur stamp and pressed it on the fabric). She would look so cute in a calf length skirt in that fabric!

Where can I find the pattern for 3 months old
@MADEEveryday10 күн бұрын
Hi Kathy! This particular pattern actually starts at 2 years old, only because it would be hard to get this style of dress ON and OFF a younger child, just with the nature of how it is fitted in the bodice, with only one button at the back. You can see more in the pattern listing here: shop.madeeveryday.com/products/first-day-dress Thanks for watching! - Dana

Do I have to measure the facing and how much?
@DarcusParker14 күн бұрын
HOW MUCH fabrics and what size and length do I need for the facing you do not have that on video
@MADEEveryday14 күн бұрын
All that info is listed in the video info above (click the ".....more" area in the video description) For the project you need 1 1/2 yards of fabric to make one apron. All the measurements to cut (for the facing, etc) are on the Free pattern pieces. Download that here on my site: www.madeeveryday.com/full-apron/ The facing size is: 11 1/2” x 3 1/2” ( or 29 1/2 cm x 9 cm)

I just made a mini version of this as my first sewing project! I lost the most amazing kitty and I took apart the fabric from her cat bed to make this. I even used the jingle bell from her collar to go on the zipper <3 <3 <3 Super clear instructions and I loved how she walked us through the entire project! Thank you!!
