I enjoy your narration without the script. Your voice is much different. I learn something everytime I watch your videos. Thank you for sharing!

I've since learned that using a hemostat (pliers that lock) works really well for turning the bodice inside out.

Oh this is great! I’m waiting for my 18yr dollstown body, so I might try resizing this for her. I’ll need to get myself a little leather punch and a fastener!

Would this pattern also work for a 1/4 scale Minifee?
@LomisPlayground10 ай бұрын
This one does not fit Minifee, it's too large. Check this page: www.ithilear.com/sewing-patterns-for-fairyland-minifee-girl.html If you scroll down to the Minifee fantasy overdress, you can use the bodice piece from that pattern to create a similar top to this :) You might want to make it a little longer if using it on its own.

Hello, your bodice is absolutely beautiful, and it's perfect for my doll I am making, but I make clothes for 1/6 scale descendants bodies, do you know if I'd be able to downsize the pattern
@LomisPlayground3 жыл бұрын
You should be able to shrink it but I am not sure what percentage of the original size it would need to be!

Thank you for showing how I can do lining. Is it possible to do a tutorial where you show us to do a dress with this top pattern? I mean how to attach the skirt part and finish it nicely?
@LomisPlayground5 жыл бұрын
Perhaps eventually, it's hard for me to fit everything in! But, the construction would be pretty similar to this tutorial for a smaller doll if that helps: kzbin.info/www/bejne/gX6ymKqHn6xlZ7M The biggest difference is size. This larger dress would be much easier! Connecting the bodice and skirt starts just after 6:20 in that video.

Just discovered the ACTUAL name for your eyelet close tool . For the longest, I thought you were saying “crocodile” 🤦🏽♀️ Personally kinda like that word better than the actual name 😂

Ha! Yeah, it is kind of a weird name... I keep meaning to put together that list of all my tools and supplies so I can easily reference everything I use.

Meanwhile, I can't even sew a pair of bjd men's pants.

Pants are hard!! Pants are what I hate more than anything else. I'll sew shirts and dresses all day long, but pants? NO THANK YOU. I say as I work on a pants pattern today -_-;

Thanks for this. I always learn something with your videos. I'm still a novice but you're helping me get better.
