Your timing continues to be uncannily perfect. I have a boy who needs a tunic like this, and I'd struggled with my own patterns before. I think I'll give this a try! :D Thanks!

Press as you go. This means press any unit before any unit gets joined to another. The fabric should be pressed before pieces are cut out.

How do you get your fabric to not get stuck in the machine, especially when you are sewing the edge? Or when you zigzag it? I always have this problem. Thanks, love your videos!

I do have that problem sometimes! Fortunately, it's not too often :) Issues with fabric getting sucked down or stuck are usually caused by a few things: the thread tension being off, using the wrong kind of needle or a needle that has gotten dull, or your machine being dirty. I try to clean out my machine every 2 weeks or so and I change my needle after every 8 hours of active sewing time, give or take a little because I don't track it exactly. Tension is the hardest to address but every type of fabric and every type of thread require different tension settings, so starting with a scrap of fabric and making necessary adjustments before you start. I keep a little cheat sheet in one of my drawers where I write down my ideal tension settings as I find them and it seems to help a lot. :D
