Is the binding single fold? The raw edge is covered enough? Thanks So cute!

Yes, it is a single layer and the raw edge goes just past the first stitching line. The raw edge can be left uncovered, as when stitched with a serpentine, or more covered with a decorative stitch. --teresa

Love your sewing machine! What is the make and model? My machine is very basic and about 30 years old...wish it did that nice serpentine stitch! Just waiting for my material and I will be sewing some towels for our newest grandbaby!

You can just cut it with the a rotary cutter against the bowl to make the curves
