Sally Dingle the blue version took under an hour to sew and I use a SLOW stretch stitch.... the black one took about 70min to make. Win win

Nice makes. The black top is my favourite. Is the stretch lace soft? I normally don't wear anything with lace as I can't stand the feel of it if it's itchy. Thanks again for sharing.

Angel Spadafore yes the lace is VERY soft. I wouldn’t order lace online... it has to be in person for the touchy-feely bit definitely.

What a beautiful pattern on you. Both versions looked fab! The black one is very pretty with the lace sleeves and the peplum is so flattering. So different to see you in sleeves. Do you find sewing is different for you now with your new sewing machine?

Kathy McConville totally different. My old sewing machine was very weak and every time I had to go over a few layers... I would freeze up and hand wheel.... I was always scared of breaking it even with the simplest of garments. Now I just sew happy! It’s so much easier to regulate stitch length and tension now.... endless reasons it’s much better now!
