Is it frustrating to remove the paper?

Hi, I don't think so but that probably depends on personality. 😃. Whatever you do, keep your sewing machine stiches very small and try ripping paper out in the middle of a test block to determine of the stitches are the right length. It should feel like a perforated paper line like in a note book. I just put on a good audio book or podcast and settle in. And I know I will have to scoop up all the paper off the floor afterwards and vacum around my chair.
