Hi Donna, it always stuns me the care and time you take to choose the "appropriate" thread color. For the sake of teaching could you do a size pillow case with your best thread and another with the thread that you would "never" use, just for us to have a visual "see why"?.... Thanks.

Beautiful quilt! You are sooo good at showing how to make them! I use painters tape all the time - especially in the kitchen. I use it to label leftovers, frozen items, and when canning. The tape stays on jar lids through several washings, but peels right off when no longer needed.

So glad to see the Gammill up and running again. I'm so glad that you started (quite awhile ago) including the quilting in your tutorials. Love the tip with the masking tape. I’ve used it for a while. I actually put the tape on the underside of the ruler. I put about 4 layers of tape at the cutting mark and then butt the fabric against the tape layers. Perfect measurements each and every time!
