Hi Donna, it always stuns me the care and time you take to choose the "appropriate" thread color. For the sake of teaching could you do a size pillow case with your best thread and another with the thread that you would "never" use, just for us to have a visual "see why"?.... Thanks.

Beautiful quilt! You are sooo good at showing how to make them! I use painters tape all the time - especially in the kitchen. I use it to label leftovers, frozen items, and when canning. The tape stays on jar lids through several washings, but peels right off when no longer needed.

I am smiling because you did what I have done before! You got all the way through the final quilting before finding that a part of one of the pieces had a part turned wrong! I’m not criticizing…I love it! You are one of us!! So glad to see the Gammill up and running again. I'm so glad that you started (quite awhile ago) including the quilting in your tutorials. The actual quilting is such an integral part of the process, and when it's not included it feels like something is missing. I imagine there are many quilters that missed the Gammill as much as did I! And, of course, the piecing of this project is beautiful and accurate and well-explained as always. Well done again, Donna!
