It is washable, easy to remove and reinstall. I used fleece because it's easy to sew, soft & comfy, and it will not shrink. I have 2 New updates for this video:
Update 1: A small piece of flexible tubing is used to connect the ends of the larger tubing to keep the plastic tubing in a round shape. For the best result, use a 35" long , 1/8" Outside Diameter (OD) plastic tubing for making the round shape. For the tube connector, use a 1" long 1/8" Inside Diameter (ID) plastic tubing. The tubing should be able to maintain the shape so it has to be flexible, but sturdy and not too soft. If you would rather buy an already made plastic tubing, please see my short video "How to Purchase Plastic Tubing for a Toilet Seat Cover Online". You can find the clickable link at the end of this video.
Update 2: The tab will work better if you make it longer than I annotated in this video. Cut 4"x10" (2 pieces) or 4"x20"(1 pieces folded). This measurement should work for the most of US toilet seats.
Update 3: I recommend you to use 2" x 2 1/2" piece of Velcro instead of a 1" wide Velcro that I used in this video. If you use 2" wide Velcro to fasten the toilet seat cover, the seat cover will be more secured. If you use 1"wide Velcro, the cover may come loose and slide around some during use. Happy sewing!!!
