I appreciated your video. However, when I followed your method, when i pulled the pocket (made of material cut from a polypropylene t-shirt) through the slot cut through the interfacing, pocket material, & fleece of vest, it was very difficult to make the material flat on the inside of the fleece vest. And the pocket material made sort of a round tube (looked like piping) around the perimeter of the slot. Maybe i should have used d a pocket material with not stretch?

Thank you for watching the video! Using polypropylene can be tricky due to its stretchiness. For a flatter result, consider using a non-stretch fabric like cotton. Ensure your interfacing is well-fused, and gently pull the pocket through while pressing the fabric at each step. I hope this helps!

Double sided tape would be easier
