Such a great pattern and the video is so helpful! I’m sad to say that with a mop of curly hair, it’s a bit tight on my head/too short. Would you suggest increasing the cut out size of the crown piece to allow a bit more room? Thanks!! Kristi, CRNA ❤

I’m so glad it was helpful! You can try printing at 110% instead of choosing “actual size”. This will increase the pattern for you. Don’t forget.. for girls, you can put your hair in a pony tail or bun and tie the cap around it in the back. :) That’s what I do!

It would need to be made differently to make it lined, and a different pattern drafted unfortunately. I’m so glad you liked it!

Did you pre wash your fabric first? If I don’t pre wash will it fit a big head after it shrinks after washing???

@@choosegoodalways this is personal preference, however, I never prewash my fabric first. I’ve never had any issues as a nurse/husband is a nurse who wears these.. as well as having 4 children I sew for. :)

Great pattern. Would be nice if the pattern sewing directions were "printable" (NOT EVERYBODY has 24/7 access to computer or internet. And even better if you "lined it" so it could be reversible so you could have "2 different hats" in one.
