I have a random sewing question. I am sewing my friend's wedding dress and I am wanting to add bishop sleeves to the pattern she picked...the original straps are of the spaghetti strap variety...would you yiu share with me the best way to add those type of sleeves to modify a preexisting pattern?

Thank you for the very helpful video. Is there a recommended seam allowance for sewing the facing to the neckline? I have a tutorial that specified 0.8cm (0.3'') seam allowance. That's so small and there's no seam guide for it so I ended up sewing by hand.

4-6-24 How do you sew the understitching straight without a guide?

I still don’t know how to use this for the part of my garment I’m sewing. I’m supposed to understitch a waist lining which has invisible zipper pieces at both ends. The pictures and written instructions are very unclear.
