Do you have to use a serger? I’m just starting out and only have a sewing machine
@binghambliss463610 ай бұрын
No!! You can use a standard sewing machine! Just make sure you use a zigzag stitch for stretch otherwise it will potentially rip because a straight stitch will tear. Hopefully this helps!!

Great video! I would love a link to the hemming tape. They one I use know isn’t working so great. It destroys my needles with the adhesive. 😢 Thank you for sharing such good advice/techniques!

Hi Amber. Question if the pattern front is the same length in front and back crotch part (waistband portion) how much should I lower the front by. In other words grade it from side to the crotch. Hope it makes sense

This was very helpful. The first part throws me off, cause it was wonky due to being filmed in reverse (with your marriage ring appearing to be on your right hand). No biggie…just tried to focus more on what you were saying. I’m inspired now to make my great granddaughter some bell bottoms! 🥰

The original bell bottom is the way you make them. The separate cuff is not and I don't think children can walk and play in those.
