Thank you! I haven’t sewn in so long, and never sewn a zipper in shorts. My mother was a tailor and used to make all my clothes. She passed in 2011 and I miss her in many ways. I just got a Singer Ditto Pattern Projector so that I can tailor my clothes to fit me, since I’m too lazy to do it the old fashioned way, and I got really confused on their directions for sewing in the fly. You made it easy. I really appreciate that.

Thank you so much for this tutorial. The first time I installed a zipper I had to remove it 3 or 4 times and even then I didn’t know how to do it properly. I decided to take apart my pants and redo everything. While I spent quite a while on the zipper I haven’t made any mistakes.
