Depends on what you want to achieve.. client size also matters.. but really can’t say there is a calculation for it because I can use 100yards and you can use 50 yards(same design) the difference will be the out come.. the 100yards will definitely look fuller than the one with 50yards..

Pls ma,for the lower part of a ball gown ,can i cut a flare with the net for top layer, then cut the remaining net as a straight cut and gather it under the net that I cut as flare

Well you can try it out and see, if you don’t like the outcome you can always change it..

Nice dress 😍 btw how did you turn the bodice out after sewing The zip, the sewing of the zip looks like enclosed seam, did you leave an opening after joining the lining?

So if you see the lining and satin to a separate base.. when you join it you should be able to turn it

It’s four threaded but I just use 3 threads u can even use 2 threads You just need to know how to thread it right.. got it 2years ago and am not sure it’s the same amount now
