Love this bag Andrea. With it's lovely crescent shape if you don't want your handles too long it just sits under your arm and fits into your body comfortably. I like sewing the handles at the top as well. Looks great. Enjoy your busy time with the family. In the meantime I will be looking over your older tutorials and checking out what I may have missed out on. In my coffee break I love to watch your tutorials. See you in October.

I just made one of these and want to say that this is a really stylish bag. It's a large tote and with firm interfacing, will hold some large books/notebooks/computer or even groceries. I kept all my seam allowances at 3/8 inch so I wouldn't have to trim any seams. Thanks Andrea for your wonderful tutorials!

Andrea, another beautiful bag! Thank you for sharing your wealth of knowledge. Would it be wrong to leave a gap in the bottom lining instead of having to open up the seam? I’m pretty comfortable doing my bags that way and love hand stitching the opening closed.

Is Pellon 910 the correct stabilizer? 910 is coming up as featherweight, 71f is coming up as ultra firm? Thank you for this awesome pattern! Can't wait to make it! Just want to get the right stabilizer!

I use 910 and 808 as well as quilt batting and fusible fleece for the bags. I know a lot of our members really like the Annies Soft and Stable and the fusible foam.
