Thank you for your beautiful and great quality videos. A video on grand jetés and how to get your mobility to where you can show a beautiful split in the air would be awesome.

Very helpful. I didn't know floss actually worked. I said in my head hmm I wonder if people actually use floss because its very thick and thicker than thread. And when I saw this vid I just about screamed Hallelujah! Thanks so much this was very helpful. I recently popped my elastic and I waited for about a week to sew it back. When I came across this vid I was inspired to go ahead and do it.

It seems everyone have pointshoes gut knows not how to sew and preperate them. Does your teacher not show you how to do? We learned that first and after this we we're allowed to go on point for first time! Hope you find some really good videos!

+Mads' Pointe I'll miss you! I am looking forward to hopefully seeing you back this year! :) ♥ Hopefully you'll continue this channel.

O.k. it's very simple to do it this way, but for stage it look's a bit messy. We learned it in old fashon was, that means invisible for the audience and they use Opera glasses...! But for training it's an good Idea!

+Akemi Nishikido those are some of my favorites too! I don't have that many, but I could definitely put together a little video of what I do have. In the meantime, if you're looking for eleve ideas: I love using their patterned fabric as the main body and then a simple mesh color for the top. I have a flower one with just an off white mesh top that I love!

What if you sew the draw string?

Beside pointe shoe tips and all things concerning Pointe shoes, I am always interested in the personal story, like why you dance, what does it mean to you, what advice would you give to your little self if you could give some, what would you do differently and what was the most memorable moment or the moment with the most impact in your life as dancer (student to professional)? And so on and on.. :) Technique tips (how to get higher extension, how to master multiple pirouettes, better turnout, etc) and follow along workouts in which you work on these technique tips, A day in a dancer's life, food tips, 'role tips' like how to get into the story and be fully in the character you'll dancing, maybe some ballet class sequences (if time allows beside this schedule of rehearsals and performances), your personal stretching or warm-up routine. Stuff like that, even if there already are thousands videos of it. I always like to see how differently every dancer stays on its top level :) Some ideas for non ballet related stuff: Q&A with questios like what do you enjoy as an alternative to ballet to be balanced and motivated? Favorite places you want to see or where you already were? In general how you spend your free time and facts about yourself you want to share with us... Okay I'll stop it now, it's too long. :D Last thing: I like the quality of your videos and you appear very likeable to me! Greetings from Germany

+noopy99 Wow!!! Thank you so, so much for taking the time to share all of these ideas with me. I have so much that I want to share with you all and I'm glad that it sounds like we are on the same page of the types of videos I hope to create. I am going to write down all of these ideas to make sure that I don't miss any. I'm glad you enjoyed this video, and I look forward to making more for you guys ASAP! :)

+Mads' Pointe You're welcome. :) For myself I feel that it is great that professional ballet dancers use KZbin to share their tips, point of views, experiences and "power" to a wide range of public. It motivates and at the same time it stays in mind, because you see and simultaneously hear it. :) I just had some new ideas: How to overcome "mental breakdowns" where you feel bad about e.g. yourself, your dancing, where you feel that you don't improve etc. | What do you think, does a teacher must have been a professional ballet dancer beforehand? | Like Ksenija Avramovic mentioned: a video about confidence. In way of confidence on stage, but at the same time confidence with your own body = don't have the perfect physique (bad turnout, athletic looking body rather than ballerina-like, bigger chest etc.) ? Okay I leave it at that. I just have to many ideas in my head swirling around. :D Can't wait to see more videos. ♥

does the criss cross method work for flat feet?
@MadisonKeesler8 жыл бұрын
+Kirstyn Witt with this thin elastic I don't find that it restricts the foot at all, so I would say that it would be fine! I use it because it really pulls the shoe up in the right places without depending just on the ribbon. Hope that helps!
@kirstynwitt7938 жыл бұрын
thanks Mads' Pointe thathelps alot mine are bad to slide off the heel, ive heard this helps. the only other method thatll workfor me is sewing the single elastic an inch apart which is super uncomfortable and i dont wanna sew them outside the shoe. :) i want to try this method
