I found the video very helpful but at a point you stopped explaining. I would like to know what the different foot are called. It is only when you were finished that I understood it was for a button hole. What do you call the blue thingy next to the foot?
@fishmut Жыл бұрын
It was a good video for sure the thing he had next to the foot was a magnetic guid to keep the material in line while he sew the piece, it’s not needed though , get some scrap material and practice some sewing guiding the material with your hand that guide the material under the foot , at first the material will wonder and stitch all over the place until you see how to keep it in line and move it when needed o keep the stitching straight , it’s easy to pick up , if I can do it you can to , just practice a bit and you will get it , no need for a magnetic guid.

Thankyou for this video it was very helpful🥰 Also I wanted to ask what is over locking? My teacher always mentions it and I just pretend I know so I don’t seem dumb in-front of the class😕
@letsstartsewing4 жыл бұрын
An overlock machine is a 4 thread machine that sews and cuts the fabric simultaneously :) KZbin it and you will see how its done.
@kawumaolivia6314 жыл бұрын
Thx for the video but mine when I start sewing the thread and the needle gets stuck I don't understand where is the problem?
@letsstartsewing4 жыл бұрын
Hi Kawuma, Perhaps you are using a very think or very thing material, usually the machine will move the material. However, if the fabric is too thick or too thin, I would manually assist the machine passing the material through, so the needle is not sticking in one place only. Another thing could be your needle tension or the needle might need to be changed for an adequate needle for the fabric you are using or replace the needle as it might be overused :)

@letsstartsewing4 жыл бұрын
Hi Nay, Yes this machine is easy to use and you can sew everything. However, it will struggle with many layers of denim (like 4 layers) but if you use two-layer of any fabric (cotton, jersey, Denim) you will be fine. I totally recommend it! Watch this video (4:24) kzbin.info/www/bejne/d4fFq4uHntlnqpY I hope it helps, if not I will do a video on it Xx
