I don't know if you'll reply or not but here goes: When I am on ponytown, and I want to shade, everyone always says "Check the second box" but I don't have that box, and I only have the first option which is do allow custom outlines. Will this affect how I shade, and will it make my shading look bad?

i'd say when you get to the lighter colours, depending on the character, don't use straight up grey, and for the darkest parts, don't use solid black? try using an off black [like maybe a really dark blue for example], and use the colour you picked for your black and lighten it?? idk how to explain
