I love it. Photoshop definitely has some cool features (nothing that you can't recreate) But it's just not worth the monthly subscription like you're paying for insurance.

If anyone is still having problems, when you go into tool options with the fill tool selected, there's an option called reference. Click the box that says "fill regions found from the merging of all layers"

I found you page a long while ago, mainly because i use Krita as well. But i was also interested in your blender videos. I have a bunch of your videos on a playlist and i thought i’d ask as courtesy to you and the content you make. Do you mind if i use them on twitch to follow along? (with proper credit to the videos used)

I really like ur style of drawing digital art and your videos so I tried making a style of drawing that's like you' res but a bit more realistic so i would wanna ask you , how to u draw hair(that is if u draw hair in your characters) because my style is mostly based of your style but with a mix of realism

mine doesn't say sample count, it says distance. Is it the same? Also, how did you fill that spot and not the whole layer? I'm doing everything exactly like you say and it just fills the entire layer

How on earth were you able to have the lines and color on seperate layers? Only was I can think of doing that is removing the lines/color from a layer ._.

for some reason its not working for me. whenever i do your steps perfectly, it still doesnt work. when i use to fill tool, it doesnt interact with the outline, and fills in the entire page.

why cant u do a simplified example from start to finish. i dont know how to separate the colour onto a different layer like u have it set to so now i have to go away and findout how to do that before any of this is useful
@Cerbyo Жыл бұрын
ya u need to learn colourize mask to make the colour layer, and then u need to edit the fill options to look at all layers...its different in the newest version of krita. So with those two things as prerequisites u can use the tutorial now,
@millysworld70688 ай бұрын
Ik this is from 6 months ago, but the title is "how to shade" not "how to make a layer"
@wanyshu16717 ай бұрын
For any lurker with the same question idk if there's a specific tool, but just draw colors on a different layer from the start so you don't need it. I guess you could try selecting each colored part and copy paste them on an other layer... and be careful if you fuse layers.
