This happens if you didn't connect all your stroke lines well before merging them. . .this can mess up your progress since it kind of removes the whole skin tone from open spaces when coloring! I will make a tutorial about this soon

So when it comes to making the shapes of the shadows can you just draw any shape like just draw some turns and edges? Just as long as it’s in the shaded spot?

Make sure you use only the PENCIIL TOOL(N) for SHADING for best results!
