Another great content, using paintbrush technique is for me the least trauma to the skin, a very relatable explanation always, often used the mags to do most of my bigger tattoos using a rl or rs to do some intricate lines, i hope to see, in future videos how to tattoo and line with a mag, your capabilities are endless, I hope Mr.Vescovi watches your videos, i bet he could learn a thing or two from you, us Gen X-ers learned from the Bloomers, and Millenials and Gen Z's came out with theae awesome ideas & crazy techniques, humbleness is the key to becoming a great tattooer, just my perspective🤘🏻🤘🏻

If you don’t hit the dermis while shading does the shading not fade really quickly? Sorry if it’s a stupid question I’m just getting into tattooing

can we use the "riding the tube" technique with a mag needle for shading?
@priddisbambam Жыл бұрын
I think you can yes but traditionally you would wanna float just above the tube so that you’re in total control of the needle depth 100% of the time. Riding the tube can cause blowouts by going too deep

Yo Daniel…. You have instagram? I’m an apprentice but been pro airbrush since 06… specialize in organic images such as portraits and wildlife. However… fine line tattooing and just super good line work in general is difficult. Especially with mechanical images like lettering and geometric shapes. Just wanted to be able to talk a bit some time some how. Good job on the videos. Definitely been good help

So you don’t have to get to the dermis when shading? Won’t the ink just fall out if you don’t go deep enough?
@DanielYuck2 жыл бұрын
Thats a dang good question! The way I look at this is like this. So when we are shading we are indeed still hitting the dermis as we have to get the ink into that layer for it to hold and stand the test of time. What changes from say lining to shading are a hand full of things, some off of the top are hand speed and voltage, time the needle is in the skin, pressure, technical approach and even the ink changes when we shade. Please note: everyone has different ways they go about shading. So when we use tattoo ink that has been diluted with a solution we are going to get a tone of gray and not straight black. With this tone of gray combined with different hand pressures, speeds and voltages we are able to achieve shading. We are still getting into the same layers but with a different variables in our technical approach.

@@DanielYuck not sure why I’m just now seeing this but thank you for your reply I have been working hard on my shading lately and even just seeing this helps shed some insight on the approach I will incorporate all of those variables in future tattoos this was a great reminder. I was definitely under the impression to just lightly brush the skin and build the tones but I think I learned my lesson the hard way and kinda overworked one of the tattoos on myself with wayyyy to many passes I just wasn’t going deep enough…thank you for that reply it helped a tone

#5 Every day we can improve nd continue to learn but with mags I really had a problem becuase well they where wide. I have always wip shaded with 3rl, 5 rl, and 7rl. But i felt that mags where more of a need to use and did alot better with the shading becuase it covers more for me. Youve helped me alot man. I really appreciate your advice and continue to educate. #DanielYuck Appreciate you man
