Nice to watch shading exercises followed by application of each technique on an actual work in progress. Seeing the reference image during each work in progress is always really helpful. Would love to have seen the pieces in this video with at least some watercoror applied after inking, or some example pieces thereof. Thank you for sharing your wonderful expertise.

I usually use the Pigma Micron pens because they are available everywhere here in Canada and often on sale. However they have a pronounced ridge above the nib that can dig into your finger. The Staedtler Pigment Liners have less of a ridge and so are more comfortable to use so might be worth hunting down if this is problem.

Hi Mary, I'm using a cold pressed 140lb paper here called Bockingford. It's not a cotton paper but more chemical pulp, but I love it. I very often use a CP paper in case I decide to add watercolour to the painting. 😊
