How to share 4G Or 5G Internet from Mobile to Router through Network Ethernet Cable

Hi have you tried belkin type c to ethernet with power passthrough. Does this enable phone charging while supplying internet to the router?

I had the same thing in mind, but it seems rather expensive. Would suggest to maybe buy an ethernet hub which supports passthrough.

Tp link c6 has dual band 2.4 and 5ghz. Can we use both band at same time like few phones only support 2.4 ghz and pcs that use 5ghz band. And can we achive 350mbps speed in 5ghz band.

That is possible as well. You will get good speed. I have a video on usb tethering also. Please check it out if required.

It appears that only USB tethering allows 5G speeds on laptops and both Bluetooth and wifi hotspot work on 2.4Ghz only. Maybe this is to do with limitations on my laptop. Can you share if Chromebook works with 5Ghz speeds?

You are correct. Most laptops are limited to 2.4GHz wifi only. I believe few Chromebook models support 5GHz as well. But I haven't personally used a Chromebook yet.

first you get 5G speeds then , its limited by phone's USB C's USB speed version USB 2.0(240Mbps*2channels) or USB 3.0 (beyond 3Gbps) then limited by WiFi version like Wifi5 gives almost 433Mbps(but 5G speeds on phone is 1.5GBps) , but if router has Wifi6 or 7 then you get unified speeds remember router and laptop connected to router must have Wifi6 or Wifi7 to enjoy top speeds wifi4(2.4Ghz)--mostly is 70Mbps wifi5(2.4 and 5Ghz is 70mbps+300mbps) wifi6(2.4+5ghz is 1.5Gbps ) speeds are seen at my end , could change at your end

There are few router models from Conbre and cellexxa that supports sim. But I doubt if they support 5g. Maybe we might get 4g speeds.

I used the WDS/bride mode in router.. That is working now.. I can charge my mobile and no need of Converter also..

In my Phone Speed test showing 300+Mbps speed on 5g and when I am sharing my phone via ethernet Tethering to router then I am getting only 2 Mbps. I am using 2.4Ghz TL-MR3420. Is there any way to get similar speed like 5g Phone?

Try to use the 5Ghz channel. It is much faster than 2.4GHz

@@blinkNbeep my jio 5g giving me 350 mbps by getting dual band it should provide at least 200mbps. Did you check both band work during ethernet tethring.

The biggest drawback with this setup is that the phone battery drains very fast with mobile internet on. I have this setup with 5G mobile Internet already.
