Hello, may I know why your little table where your hand rests on is at such a big angle? You don't use that to put your drill on? Thx!!!!!!

thanks for the great question. the angle of the “tool rest” is set so that if the drill bit lays flat on it you have a proper relief angle from the cutting edge of the drill to the back of the cutting edge. here is the link to the whole playlist kzbin.info/aero/PLJkjmdh8itJnYeNZMGkK8jJJgMuTv8dhA and here is the next video i believe explains your question kzbin.info/www/bejne/nZqooGCldshsncU however. once you get experience grinding drill bits it’s easier to rest the drill on your finger as a pivot point or fulcrum.
