I agree, I used to use our workshop surface grinding machine...with white stone. Did a great job on his drill bits as well.

You can use a knife sharpening stone, or sand paper glued to glass Like a 3000 Emmy cloth. The correct way is a slow moving grinder used on tools. Even a dimond stone will keep the edge keen.

it is not meant to drill wood, its for metal work. its obvious that you burn the drill( marks are visible) due work with wood. and first of all you didnt sharpen the point that tells you will again use it for wood

As A professional you need some training on how it's done. You method did work, I will give you that. But insulting true professionals by saying we do not know how to sharpen A tool only shows your own lack of knowledge. And there are faster and better ways to do this.

You are correct in everything apart from only the tip needing to be sharpened. This is a step bit, each step needs to be sharp or it won't cut through.

Dude step bits are not dripp bits the tips are blunt as they are ment to be used to enlarge existing holes. Learn how to use your tools before making a video about them

Fake video, everyone how has a minimum knowledge about machinning knows , that such bad guality sandpaper simply can't grind off such big amount of high speed steel with this precision, but it was already explained in some other comment, why somebody does that kind of videos.
