Good to know! I sharpened a couple ceramic knives with standard belts and now it makes sense why they seemed to wear out fast. Thanks for the tip!

Ditto. I've used this unit on my (many) ceramic knives for years...ever since Kyocera abandoned their "free" resharpenting service. Absolute best system for restoring ceramic edges. Returns factory edge in minutes. Nothing else compares.

Unless your sound and video arent synced, It would appear that you are not sharpening all the way to the tip of the blade

Due to a process they use to make the blade tougher. Ceramic blades are either black or white

Sorry, I'm not convinced that watching you drag the knife across your hi tech machine is worth my time. I want to see the new edge after you sharpen. Cutting paper is the least or my interest.
