Great video gave me a lot of new knowledge, by the way is is true that if you start a bike without the clutch pulled in that it will wear the clutch even more or no? Oh and also what is the best way of getting better fuel mileage on a 2-stroke?
@FREEDOMSYNDICATEOFFICIAL2 жыл бұрын
Awesome!!! Glad I was able to help!! So anytime you have the clutch pulled in while in any gear except for natural there is some friction between the clutch plates and the clutch basket therefore it'll wear out faster then having it in neutral. Starting it with the clutch pulled in more than anything is hard on the starter as the starter is not only having to turn over the motor but it is also working against the friction of the clutch.
@FREEDOMSYNDICATEOFFICIAL2 жыл бұрын
The best pace on a 2 stroke to achieve the best fuel mileage is to stay outside the powerband.

It's easy every time you going to be shifting you got to be on the high RPMs at the moment you let go the gas shifted and go back to the gas and at that gear go back to the high RPMs and at the moment you let go the throttle shifted same thing when it comes to downshifting but downshifting you got to give a throttle and release the throttle and shift it down bring the RPMs higher again release the throttle and shift it downshift again then give him more gas and then let go the throttle and down shift there again right at the same time you let go of the throttle

@FREEDOMSYNDICATEOFFICIAL2 жыл бұрын
Yes that's normal for a Banshee to make power later in the rpm range. If you're overheating I would look into a larger aftermarket radiator. If you already have one then perhaps the engine is running too lean and you need a bigger jet in the carb.

Wondering why 1st go is so short on my 15 Raptor 700r. My GSXR1k 1st gear was long af and id hit 90 mph before needing to shift, any ideas?
@FREEDOMSYNDICATEOFFICIAL2 жыл бұрын
I'm very familiar as I had an R6 at one point in first gear did 83 mph. The reason the gears are much shorter on an off-road machine is because they can gain more explosive low end performance while not needing to exceed much over 80 mph. A street bike doesn't require all that much low end in first gear and then has a very close ratio after that to help keep its power while over 100 mph.
