In simple words if gear is high and you are running in lower speed then it will automatically lower the gear but it will never increase gear no matter how much acci you push... This feature is useful for driving uphill when you need extra torque or if you are in hurry and wants to overtake quickly.

Use manual when u don’t want car to change gear automatically, bxz in manual mode downshifts are done automatically but not up shifts. U get a full control of it.

Gear down happens automatically isn't it ? plus you can't run at 50 kmpl in Gear 2. the ratio is 1:15:30:45:55-60+ that's it. you will burst the engine otherwise

No bro in AMT cars there is no problem because it is basically a manual transmission and when you shift it to M mode the senson just stops changing gears there is no harm to the gearbox
