How To: Shift Knob Replacement DCT Veloster

In this video I show you how to remove the old shift knob from your Veloster (steps should stay pretty similar throughout the various year models/transmissions) and I show you how I installed my new shift knob.
In the video I say that the shift knob was $17.00 - it was actually only $10.00. I also talk about how you could use needle nose pliers to remove the C-Clip from the OEM Shift Knob - just use the Flat-Head Screwdriver.

Hey man! Your video really helped. I just wanted to ask, the part where you said "anyone know what I forgot" ... well I'm stuck right there because after that point, your knob slid all the way down to the bottom. Idk if I'm doing something wrong, but I have an Illinium Flux knob, have the adapter, as well as the snug little boot, but it sits really high up and you can see a lot of the silver shaft... wondering what's up... am I missing something that allows it to slide down?
