I have yet to add a new shift knob for mine but i'll ask Missy Kitty what she got? I don't think there was a size option but i'll check

@@courtneydansby755 So she said she bought the "Euro 10mm" adapter but even with that, the knob had a little bit of play so she used electrical type to basically make sure it was snug. Hope this helps :)

Glad I found this channel. After modding the piss out of SRT4 I wanted to keep my VT stock. Long story short, I had to leave on a work trip for 6 months and came back to a broken VT (every light on the dash was lit up, CEL EVERYTHING). I had warranty work done which included a transmission flash (DCA) and a something to do with the fuel system. After not really driven it for 6 months I noticed how sluggish it is. I'm going to start some simple mods to liven up the car and that how I found this channel. I always said it would could be a pretty fun car with an extra 50hp. Damn 2019 VT-N lol.

For the automatic. Did you use a universal knob to attach the shifter. I like how short the knob is I want to use a universal knob that isn’t long. I want to keep it a nice size how you did. What universal shifter did you use?

There are many Veloster and KDM groups on Facebook like Veloster Nation, Veloster World, to name a few. It's also good to see if your city has a local scene because usually they'll have a page or instagram talking about meets.

How would you put an aftermarket shit knob on it of it's got the reverse pull up thing

It just goes on top. Removing the stock shift knob (which is literally above the reverse lock out) doesn't interfere or mess with the reverse lock out at all. The catch is you need to buy a shift knob meant for reverse lock outs as they have a gap meant for the reverse lock out (otherwise it may block the lock out and not allow you to engage said lock).

I don’t think you need a cutting tool to remove the plastic piece that has the P, R, N, D, etc for the DCT. I recall it being just screws when I did it

On this it felt like it was almost glued on. The light/electrical was removed via screws but not the actual plate. May be differences in years and models?

Chayness yeah could differ between models. I managed to put my shift boot on and kept the electrical bit in place and connected. So you could still see the D, N, etc. light up like normal. It’s a clean look
