Thank-you so much for these instructions. It took for-freaking-ever, but I FINALLY did it! Even with the 1/100 chance of spawning an Eevee outbreak, it took about 1200 tries before I got one that was huntable. One tip I can offer is keeping the time you set closer to midnight. This will give you the most time to hunt the outbreak once you get it to spawn. I used sandwich 34 since I didn't have enough herbs for the hunt, and averaged a shiny every sandwich. Now I just have to evolve them to get all the evolutions.

I was breeding for a perfect IV eevee and thought I had messed up the breeding because the IVs were crap and I was telling my friends I was gonna reset and then lo' and behold the 5th egg hatched and it was a shiny eevee

This is the very helpful guide the problem for me is that while I can get an Eevee outbreak on the map but it literally doesn't show up for me while I'm looking around, I just see igglybuff/jigglypuff instead

Does the outbreak spawn in or right next to the maze? If so - you can get those it really sucks 😭 I’ve had 3 there but couldn’t get any because the maze is preventing the spawn

@@yukipotato4767 I managed to get an actual outbreak but yeah, you really need to isolate them to a "perfect" spot instead of out in the open cause or else you'll get other pokemon. I got mine directly north of the pokemon center in the small field with the trees and fencing and was able to defeat the 60.

There’s a video Austin John made about shiny hunting a legendary that I used for eevee and it’s been working out ok: You have to despawn only about 1-3 of the jigglypuff/igglybuff at a time because they spawn in groups while eevee spawns more like one at a time? Idk if that made sense and it’s still tedious and frustrating but I’ve been able to knock out 60 multiple times that way.. hope it helps and good luck!! :)

I have the weirdest luck ever with Shiny hunting. When I actively search for Shiny Pokemon, I can't find jack s* in over 8 hours of play time but when I just play the game and level up the Pokemon I have, boom! 3 Shiny Pokemon (Gyarados, Gulpin & Sneasel)! Zero recipe, zero trick or clock manipulation, just pure dumb luck when not even trying. By the way, it is my dream to have a Shiny Eevee, because Shiny Sylveon looks awesome. Edit: And with the Shiny Psyduck I just found, that makes four accidental Shiny discoveries.

DONT do THIS IN CORTONDO!!!! I used a normal level 2 encounter sandwich in medali for forever until I got an eeve outbreak. But I was able to farm 14 shinies off it! Be patient, rolling the Eevee outbreak is like a shiny hint in and of itself. Use the touch screen to really skip dates fast and only check for right around medali to save time

So you basically just go to Medali, make the encounter normal sandwich and do the date roll trick until you get the mass outbreak? That's what I'm doing now but I've not gotten any Eevee outbreaks yet. Sometimes when I roll, there are no mass outbreaks near Medali at all. Just wanted to make sure I'm doing it correctly. 😬

@@spindleblood yes that's right! I found a few leafeon/vaporeon/flareon outbreaks before I found the Eevee. It's only a 0.3% chance to spawn

@@Grahamster1999 I ended up getting one in Cortondo on 1/18 and have been adjusting my date each day to keep it going. They spawned kind of near the olive rolling game thing though so only a few spawn at a time but so far I've gotten 4 shiny Eevee. It took me hundreds of date switches just to get the outbreak. I kind of wish I had done it in Medali instead though for that reason but now that I have one I think I'll just keep grinding until I get a bunch. I haven't seen any Umbreon or Espeon outbreaks before so I'm guessing those are pretty rare to find? I'll have to prioritize getting Eevees for those I guess. I got a shiny Vaporeon from an outbreak in my BF's game which was nice!

Sorry if this is a dumb question, I just started Violet like a week ago. So do I make and eat the sandwich BEFORE trying to date skip for the outbreak or make the sandwich once I actually get the outbreak? I’ll lose the sandwich power/effects if I make/eat it before I restart for the outbreak right? Sorry just don’t wanna waste ingredients. I’m still trying to get the hang of how to best use the sandwich/picnics to their fullest potential. I just beat the elite 4 and Penny last night, so I don’t have any herba mystica yet, I don’t need sparking power do I? Just normal encounter power? Sorry! Any help/tips are VERY greatly appreciated

I did my outbreak in Medali because the Eevee outbreak could appear in the gym challenge and you want to save as much time as possible.

For the few that are still struggling with getting Spawns in Cortondo, I recommend going to Medali instead. Method works pretty much the same, minus the glitched out mass outbreaks that don’t spawn anything.

Just a tip, you don't need to manually count 60 defeated Pokemon, just keep fainting them until the message "The number of [pokemon] is definitely going down" shows up, you know you hit 60. Also, if it's almost time for your internal clock to go to the next day and you want to keep hunting a specific Pokemon, turn the game off (maybe save the game first) and adjust the time of the clock to an earlier hour. Just don't adjust the day or adjust the clock while running the game, it will only work if not in-game. I usually turn the clock back to 0:00 so I have 24h to hunt a mon without any hassle.

No it’s a number from 25-30 for each message so you aren’t 100% going to hit 60 doing that method. You just always count or you won’t know for sure you max the shiny roles
