Thank you for all of the insight and tips, especially about avoiding static shots! I feel like a common mistake with a beginner like myself is to just sit still and watch the action without MAKING some of it happen, with the mistake being that the latter concept adds a dynamic quality to otherwise boring shots. Always good to have a reminder! Also, quick question: What frame rate were you shooting in for the regular motion portion of the video?

Choice of music is shockingly bad. If only the final product looked as good as you explain tips. Great education video but that final example video was extremely amateur. What looks like overblown highlights, boring lighting, little lens variation etc. understand there we constraints but... yeah... lots of room for improvement for an example video
